Steel pipe piles are the foundation suitable for dock and port construction. Their diameter range is generally between 400-2000mm, and the most commonly used is 1800mm. The black seamless steel pipe pile is composed of a steel pipe, a tongue and groove, and a tongue and tenon pin. The left end of the diameter of the steel pipe is vertically connected to the tongue and groove on the wall. The cross section of the tongue and groove is a square frame with one side open. How to deal with broken black seamless steel pipe piles
First, poor pile connection causes the pipe pile to break during the pile sinking process. Generally, the pile does not tilt, or even though it tilts, the low strain detection fracture position is at the pile connection position. This situation needs to be handled with piles.

Second, the piles were tilted and broken at shallow locations, with some depths only about 3m. Such piles can be connected by large-scale excavation or casing excavation.

Third, during the correction and straightening process of tilted and broken piles, due to reasons such as excessive tilt of the piles, the piles will be dislocated at the fracture point after correction and straightening. Such broken piles can only be dealt with by repairing piles or other methods.

Fourth, the crack existing in a general inclined broken pipe pile may not be a crack. There may be other cracks above and below the main crack. Therefore, it is not advisable to use the attempted depth of pile top connection (1.5m) when connecting piles. It should be determined through calculation. .

Preventive measures for broken black seamless steel pipe piles
First, conduct a comprehensive inspection of the quality of the black seamless pipe pile body, measure the outer diameter, wall thickness, pile curvature and other relevant dimensions of the pipe pile, and record them in detail. It is found that the bending of the pile body exceeds the regulations or the pile tip is not on the longitudinal axis of the pile. should not be used. The stacking and lifting of piles should be strictly carried out in accordance with relevant regulations.

Second, during the process of stabilizing the pile, if it is found that the pile is not vertical, it should be corrected in time. When the pile is pressed into a certain depth and is seriously tilted, it is not appropriate to use the rack-moving method to correct it. When connecting piles, ensure that the upper and lower pile sections are on the same axis, and the joints should strictly follow the operating procedures.

Third, the obstacles under the pile positions should be cleared before construction, and if necessary, use a drill to understand each pile position. Fourth, the construction site should be ensured to be flat and solid. There are drainage measures to ensure that the machine body is stable and does not shake during walking or spraying.
