Precautions for the Construction of Steel Sheet Piles

Precautions for the construction of steel sheet piles:

1. Sufficient safety warning signs are set up at the construction site. The staff set up sufficient safety warning signs at the construction site, set up a fence near the top of the high formwork, and the staff must have a special straight ladder to go up and down. Equip professional safety supervisors to eliminate safety risks, do a good job in the three-level education of civilized safety and safety precautions before work.

2. Special employees such as drivers and welders should try to get a certificate to work, and industrial equipment operators (or drivers) should try to undergo professional training, master the characteristics of industrial equipment operation, and operate (vehicle) after obtaining a work permit or driver's license after being uated by a professional management company; industrial equipment must have an annual inspection certificate.

3. Before the excavation of the foundation pit, the industrial equipment needs to be inspected, and the machinery and equipment must be repaired and maintained after completion. During the construction process, the industrial equipment operation process is carried out according to the safety computer operating system.

4. When working at night, the lighting system should be kept in good condition for a long time, and the lighting should be sufficient.

5. During the foundation pit construction process, the construction safety of industrial equipment workers should be further guaranteed as much as possible. Professional personnel should be responsible for guiding the operation of the excavator. The high formwork in the excavator should be guaranteed to have sufficient safety. The soil layer in the excavator walking area should be layered to ensure sufficient tensile strength. In areas with insufficient tensile strength, anti-seepage measures should be taken as much as possible.

6. Workers entering the construction site should wear safety labor protection equipment as required. It is strictly forbidden to work barefoot or in flat sandals. Relevant work staff should do a good job in the handover process. The team should conduct safety knowledge education on time and keep a record of safety inspections.

7. Carry out civilized safety daily inspection, weekly inspection, and monthly inspection management system, and supervise and rectify safety hazards immediately when they are found; equip full-time construction safety officers and safety inspectors to ensure that each construction site has a safety inspector.

8. When using steel sheet piles as pit wall support, the following requirements should be met:

(1) The vibration and noise caused by the basic foundation piling should be minimized to damage the adjacent buildings, houses, laboratory instruments and regional space environment;

(2) When excavating the foundation pit near the pile, the pile body should be prevented from being damaged;

(3) The main keel should be backfilled and compacted immediately after the pile is pulled out.

(4) The disassembly and assembly of the steel support should be carried out in the order of backfilling. When disassembling and assembling the support, nearby buildings and houses should be prevented from causing dents and damage, and engineering reinforcement measures should be adopted when necessary.

Construction environment requirements:

1. Foundation pit cleaning: clean up the debris and soil in the foundation pit to ensure the normal operation of the pile driver.

2. Safety protection: set up appropriate isolation belts around the construction site to ensure the safety of the site.

3. Water level reduction: for pipe piles that need to be buried in deep water, the water level needs to be lowered first to ensure the normal progress of construction.
