Pay attention to the following points when hoisting the spiral steel pipe (SSAW pipe)
1. The horizontal contact surface between the hook and the end of the spiral steel pipe shall not be less than 40mm, otherwise it will easily deform the nozzle and affect the connection of the pipe.
2. The limit on the number of hoisting wires, the diameters of 219, 273, 325, and 377 specifications can be hoisted at most 4-5 wires at one time, and the diameters of 426, 478, and 529 specifications can be hoisted at most 2-3 wires at a time. A maximum of 2 steel pipes with a diameter of 630 and 720 can be hoisted at one time, and a steel pipe with a diameter of 820 or more can be hoisted at a time.
3. Before hoisting, a comprehensive inspection of light and heavy appliances such as cranes and spreaders should be carried out. The crane should be in good condition. All lifting equipment, ropes, pulleys, shackles, rope clamps and other equipment must have certificates and operating instructions and be in good condition.
Precautions for installing spiral steel pipe
1. After leveling the sand, tamp it with a vibrating plate. The flatness, elevation, thickness, width and compactness of the sand cushion must meet the design requirements. The spiral steel pipe can only be released after passing the acceptance.
2. Spiral steel pipes, pipe fittings and other materials used in water supply pipeline engineering shall comply with the relevant current national product standards and design requirements, and have factory certificates. Materials must not pollute water quality.
3. Spiral steel pipes and pipe fittings should be lifted with slings or special tools. They should be handled lightly. During transportation, they should be firmly filled and fastened, and must not collide with each other. Protective measures shall be taken for the inner and outer anti-corrosion layers of the joints and pipelines.
4. After checking the bottom of the tank, the spiral steel pipe should be lowered immediately after checking the position of the pipe joints and fittings. Truck cranes should be used to lower the pipeline. When lowering the pipeline, care should be taken to keep the direction of the socket consistent with the installation direction of the pipeline. At the same time, a work pit should be dug at each interface. The size of the working pit shall be suitable for the convenient installation of pipe joints.
5. When lowering the pipeline, two steam cranes should be used to hang the two ends of the spiral steel pipe respectively, and wrap the pipe body of the spiral steel pipe with high-strength nylon tape, and slowly lower it into the foundation groove. Do not put wood or stone under the tube. In order to prevent damage to the anti-corrosion layer on the spiral steel pipe, the spiral steel pipe must be placed in the center of the pipe trench.
6. The crane should be commanded by specially designated personnel. The lifting speed should be uniform, the rotation should be stable, the lowering speed should be low, and the crane should not brake quickly, slowly or suddenly. During installation and construction, the spiral steel pipe should be grooved, and all relevant personnel should be invited to check the groove in time. The next step can only be carried out after the bottom of the tank is qualified. If the soil foundation at the bottom of the tank does not meet the design requirements, the design, supervision unit and geological survey department should be contacted in time to jointly study the foundation treatment measures before proceeding to the next process.
