Ship piping requirements
1. Marine piping must be inspected and approved by the relevant classification society
2. For general ships, thickened seamless steel pipes are required to be used for bilge water piping, deck washing piping, air piping, measuring piping, injection piping, sanitary water piping, seawater piping, fire piping and foam piping.
3. The exhaust pipe and flange should be painted with high-temperature-resistant aluminum powder paint or zinc powder paint, and then wrapped with composite silicate heat insulation material with a thickness of more than 75mm.After the surface is painted with high temperature-resistant aluminum powder paint for two degrees, it is wrapped with galvanized iron sheet. The surface temperature after wrapping does not exceed 60 degrees Celsius when the host is under full load.
4. The fresh water cooling outlet pipe of the main engine, the steam piping system and the steam accompanying piping system should be wrapped with appropriate materials for heat insulation to avoid burns.
5. The length of each pipe is appropriate for future maintenance of the pipe system
6. Each pipe can only have one elbow, and no more than two elbows in special cases.
7. The type of tank joint pipe is to be approved by the shipowner.
8. The material of reducing joints and elbows is required to be the same as that of the pipe, and the wall thickness should be at least equal to or greater than the wall thickness of the pipe. Marine valves must be marine valves approved by the relevant classification society.
