Types of steel pipe piles

The steel pipe pile is composed of a steel pipe, a tongue and groove, and a tongue and groove pin. The left end pipe wall of the steel pipe diameter is vertically connected with a rebate groove, and the cross section of the rebate groove is a square frame shape with one side opening, and a reinforcing rib is provided on the side of the rebate groove. On the right end pipe wall of the steel pipe diameter and the partial radius position, vertically connect with a rebate pin, and the groove section of the rebate pin is an I-shape. Steel pipe piles are used in construction to transfer structural loads deeply into foundation soil or rock deep within the earth's surface. The size, strength and number of steel pipes required will vary according to the soil type for each job.

1. Bearing pile. This is a load-bearing steel pipe pile. Multiple pipe piles are driven deep into the ground and the load is distributed evenly across the pipe piles.
2. Bridge piles. Bridge piles are used to create a stable support for the bridge. Steel pipes are driven into the ground by vibrating or hammering machines. According to the structure, ten conditions, water conditions and bedrock, the depth and number of steel pipe piles used are pre-designed. The installed steel pipe piles are then usually filled with concrete to complete the process.
3. Construction and foundation piles. These piles provide a stable foundation for buildings or other structures. It is driven into the ground or vibrated into bedrock, and then often filled with mix-in eleven, one day into place. The structure can be built on top of the pipe to keep it from moving.
4 marine and dock piles. This is the steel pipe you see supporting the base. Steel pipe piles are driven into the water to provide a stable foundation for piers and piers near rivers, lakes and oceans. Both boat piles and dock piles can be fabricated from new steel pipe, old steel pipe or excess steel pipe.
5. Micro piles/screw piles/anchor piles. These foundation piles are used to stabilize existing structures that have been displaced or cracked or damaged by subsidence, floods or earthquakes. Anchor piles, which work and look like cork nails, are screwed into the soil in the area of the structure to be repaired, and jack-up poles can then be installed to complete the project and provide maximum support. These types of piles can also be used to stabilize soil on steep slopes to prevent erosion, slippage and collapse.
6. Trestles/False Works/Temporary Structures. Temporary trestles, which may also be called temps or temporary structures, are primarily used in the construction and repair of dry bridges. Often structures constructed of steel pipes are temporarily erected next to bridges being repaired or constructed, and the structure is reinforced with stems over the bridges being repaired or constructed. It is also common to house construction equipment on these structures

There are various specifications of steel pipe piles, and there are many choices. Select the most suitable application from various specifications, so that the advantages of steel pipe piles can be fully utilized to meet the safety and economic requirements of the project.
